Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara - TNI AU or the Indonesian Air Force is a part of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (Tentara Nasional Indonesia/TNI) with main duties in air operations. TNI AU is headquartered in Jakarta and supported by 2 Air Force Operational Commands (KOOPSAU), namely Komando Operasi Angkatan Udara I (Koops AU I) based in Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta and Komando Operasi Angkatan Udara II (Koops AU II) based in Hasanuddin Airport Makassar South Sulawesi. At present, TNI AU has 34,930 active personnels, and supported by 110 combat aircrafts including Su-27 and Su-30. Since 17 December 2012, the Chief of the Air Staff was held by Air Chief Marshal (Marsekal TNI) Ida Bagus Putu Dunia.
Due to strengthen its team, Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara are now seeking to recruit high caliber and dynamic Indonesian Citizen for the following challenging positions as :
Calon Taruna Akademi Angkatan Udara (AAU)
General Requirements
• Male/Female, Indonesian citizen
• Minimum High School (SMA) majoring in IPA
• Faith and fear of God Almighty
• Loyal to the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and UUD 1945
• Minimum age 19 years and 9 months and not more than 22 years old on 1 August 2013
• Does not have a criminal record in writing issued by the National Police (Police Notes)
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Do not lose the right to be a soldier by court decisions that have permanent legal force
