Chevron Online Rekruitment March

Exploration and Production Chevron is Indonesia's largest oil producer, with a total daily production averaging 485,000 barrels of liquids per day in 2009.
Total average daily production of natural gas was 611 million cubic feet.
We operate in partnership with Indonesia's Executive Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities through production-sharing contracts (PSCs).
PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) has a 100 percent interest in and operates the Rokan and Siak PSCs in Sumatra. Chevron's 90 percent interest in the Mountain Front Kuantan PSC is expected to transition to a local operator by mid-2010.
Chevron has operated interests in five offshore Indonesian PSC areas covering approximately 3.2 million acres (13,000 sq km). Four PSC areas are located offshore East Kalimantan in the Kutei Basin, including operated interests in East Kalimantan (92.5 percent), Makassar Strait (90 percent), Rapak (80 percent) and Ganal (80 percent).
The fifth PSC is a 100 percent-owned interest in East Ambalat, located in the Tarakan Basin offshore northeast Kalimantan. The working interest for each of Chevron's two onshore exploration blocks in western Papua, West Papua I and West Papua III are expected to be reduced to 51 percent in 2010 pending final approval from the government of Indonesia.
Chevron has a 40 percent nonoperated working interest in the NE Madura III Block in the East Java Sea Basin and a 25 percent nonoperated working interest in the offshore South Natuna Sea Block B northeast of the Rokan Block. Optimizing Potential in Sumatra The majority of CPI's production in 2009 came from fields in the Rokan PSC. Duri, the largest field, has been using steamflood technology since 1985 and is one of the world's largest steamflood developments.
In 2009, steam injection was deployed in 80 percent of the field. In producing areas of the Duri Field, 185 production wells and 40 steam injection wells were drilled in 2009. In the Minas Field, 72 production wells were drilled during 2009, and efforts continued on improving waterflood techniques to sustain field production. Developing Resources in Kutei Basin In the Kutei Basin in East Kalimantan, Chevron operates 15 producing offshore fields.
Crude oil and natural gas produced from the northern fields are processed at the company-operated Santan terminal. Chevron began front-end engineering and design for the Gendalo-Gehem deepwater natural gas project in December 2009.
First gas from the Seturian Field was achieved in September 2009. Moving Ahead in South Natuna Sea Block B Seven fields in South Natuna Sea Block B produce natural gas, and four fields produce both crude oil and natural gas. A five-phase development project in Block B supports two long-term natural gas sales contracts to Malaysia and Singapore. Drilling for the first three phases continued through 2009.
The fourth phase, in the North Belut Field, produced its first gas in November 2009. North Belut is one of the largest hydrocarbon-bearing structures in the West Natuna Basin. More development drilling is planned through 2010. Geothermal Chevron generates more than 630 megawatts of clean, reliable and affordable geothermal energy for Indonesia. Geothermal energy is created by the heat of the earth.
It generates reliable power and emits almost no greenhouse gases.
Our subsidiary Chevron Geothermal manages two geothermal projects in Indonesia — Darajat and Salak, both on the island of Java. The Darajat project supplies geothermal steam, which generates 259 megawatts of electricity.
All power from the Darajat site is sold directly to the national grid. Chevron holds a 95 percent operating interest in Darajat.
Chevron has a 100 percent operating interest in the Salak project, one of the largest geothermal operations in the world, with a total operating capacity of 377 megawatts. The combined output from our Darajat and Salak geothermal operations now produces sufficient renewable energy to supply approximately 4 million homes in Indonesia.
Chevron also operates and has 95 percent interest in the North Duri Cogeneration Plant in Sumatra, supplying up to 300 megawatts of electrical power to CPI as well as steam in support of CPI's Duri steamflood project. Marketing and Retail PT Chevron Oil Products Indonesia (COPI) markets Caltex-branded lubricants to consumers and industrial customers throughout Indonesia. Chevron, through its trading arm in Singapore, also trades crude oil, liquid petroleum gas, asphalt and finished petroleum products to Indonesia's government-owned Pertamina as well as to licensed local importers and distributors.
The government of Indonesia is gradually deregulating the downstream petroleum business. Through its appointed marketers, COPI plans to sell its Caltex-branded diesel to commercial and industrial customers beginning the second quarter 2010. Customers will be served from the storage facility at Tanjung Priuk, Jakarta. Eventually, storage and distribution is expected to expand to other parts of Indonesia.
