PT Bank BTPN Tbk (the Bank) began in London in 1959. The bank was originally established to serve the needs of the retired personnel of the Armed Forces by the name of Bank Employees Retired Military or BAPEMIL. With the passage of time, the bank developed and began to serve the retired civilian employees. For more than 50 years, the Bank focuses its banking services to the retirees in cooperation with PT Asuransi Retirement Savings, Taspen, and PT Pos Indonesia.
Bank name later changed in 1986 to National Savings Bank to date. Status of the Bank also increased the savings bank into a commercial bank with the issuance of a business license in 1993. In March 2008, the Bank became a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The main shareholder of the Bank, TPG Nusantara Sarl, is an investment company owned by TPG (Texas Pacific Group - a global investment firm from the United States) with a shareholding of 71.6%. In addition to its core business in the pension market, the Bank has launched a micro credit business, btpn | people's business partner, in 2008. In late December 2009, the Bank operate as many as 1,030 branches in Indonesia, including 539 branches of micro credit.

• Ability to operate computer minimal MS Office, email and internet  
• Communicative, workmanlike and disciplined
